Radical Biotope is a gigantic installation featuring water. By diverting part of the river near the exhibition space, Radical Biotope is conceived as a biotope, an architecture, a reinvented landscape that suggests the potential of water as a structuring element. The artist creates around this resource an ephemeral community composed of works by artists who participated in the expeditions he organized on the Aletsch Glacier between 2015 and 2017 (MATZA Aletsch).
