A l’occasion des (presque) 10 ans de son projet MATZA, Séverin Guelpa revient sur les expériences menées dans le désert du Mojave aux Etats-Unis, sur les glaciers des Alpes et sur différents chantiers de villes suisses. Une réflexion en images sur le pourquoi d’un tel projet et la volonté d’expérimenter un autre rapport à la nature et à ses ressources dans un monde où la complexité des enjeux qui se posent aujourd’hui nécessite obligatoirement des formes de réponses collectives.
On the occasion of the (almost) 10th anniversary of his MATZA project, Séverin Guelpa looks back on the experiments carried out in the Mojave Desert in the USA, on the glaciers of the Alps and on various building sites in Swiss cities. A reflection in images on the reasons for such a project, and the desire to experiment with a different relationship to nature and its resources in a world where the complexity of today’s challenges necessarily requires collective responses.
